Dr. Romy Paredes, Medical Director
Dr. Paredes is the visionary founder of Wellnessland Health Institute, a leader in natural and complementary health care and education. He has successfully treated many patients with his natural and self-empowerment approach to healing, most of whom with chronic ailments and supposedly terminal diseases like cancer.
With a BS in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City and a medical degree at the UP College of Medicine-PGH, Dr. Paredes also trained in Integrative Medicine in the US. He is a Clinical Metal Toxicologist (CMT), and awarded cum laude by the International Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology.
He was awarded the Honorary Recognition Award by the Dr. Rath International Health Alliance for his outstanding achievement in the fight for health freedom. He has authored many books offering new perspectives on health and medicine. Romy is the founder of the Self Health-Empowerment Movement (SHEM).
Pi Villaraza, Programs Director & CEO
Pi is the founder of inner dance, global healing movement that has touched thousands of practitioners shared a powerful understanding of how internal energy shifts and heals in meta-cognitive dimensions. He regularly conducts trainings around the world where his work has had numerous applications grounded in medical work, education, dialogue, ecology, trauma and psychology. His work has been documented in numerous articles, movies, radio programs and books around the world for its capacity to heal and transform. Pi is a Philippine representative of the Global Ecovillage Network, and is the founder of Bahay Kalipay and Maia Earth Village in Palawan. He is one of the main proponents of the SHEM or Self-Health Empowerment Movement, which organizes the Wholeness Center Network around the Philippines. Pi is the author of two well-read books, Conscious Trance and Transformation Medicine (co-authored with Dr. Romy Paredes).
Daniw Arrazola, General Manager & Nutrition Director
Daniw left her entrepreneurial life in Manila to move to Palawan and to eventually become one of the first advocates of plant-based raw food healing in the country. She's conducted numerous healing workshops and retreats around the world before co-founding Bahay Kalipay in Palawan, a successful raw food retreat center model that has established a blend of food-based, yoga, healing and educational platforms unique to the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
She is one of the first unassisted home water and lotus-birthers in the country and now guides many mothers on how to raise conscious families.
Daniw is one of the few globally-certified raw food chefs in the Philippines, having trained and influenced many of the premiere institutions and practitioners in the whole foods industry.
Daniw is currently the General Manager and Nutrition Director for IASIS and the Wholeness Hub in Manila.

Dr. Michael Tiongson, Medical Programs Specialist
Dr. Pao is a speaker and an advocate of health freedom. His persistent search for truth has led him to Integrative and Holistic Medicine where he has been empowering patients to be their own best doctor, and leading them on their own path to healing. He has actively spoken all over the country empowering people to take control of their health.
He was the Past President of the Philippine Center for Specialized Health Care Intern’s Council, and the Internal Vice President of the Medicine Student Council and the Past President of the Federation of Psychological Societies of the Philippines.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from De La Salle University Manila with Honorable Mention, where he was also given the GAWAD MAG-AARAL AWARD (2003). He finished his medical degree from the University of Sto. Tomas, and now serves as the Medical Director of Wellnessland Health Institute Manila in Quezon City.
Melissa Quinto, Company Coordinator& Yoga Instructor
Melissa is a Canadian born Filipina who decided to move to the Philippines in 2010. After graduating from numerous disciplines in law & society, human relations, thelogical studies and human resource management, she was interested in advancing her career, growing personally and experiencing the same culture her parents grew up in. Initially, she worked as a corporate trainer in the human resources industry and later managed a large department for a Canadian background checking company in Makati.
When she decided to quit the corporate world in 2013, she immersed herself in the Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm as a volunteer. Currently, she is now part of the IASIS team and helps out in various capacities. In 2013, Melissa also became a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor from Beyond Yoga in Quezon City. In the midst of her responsibilities at IASIS, she is still blessed with the opportunity to share her yoga practice with both IASIS clients and staff, as well as the GK community.
Ben Bumatay Bilinan, Healing and Treatment Specialist
Ben is a natural healing expert who trained in Ananda Marga Healing Center for seven years. His specialized and unique health and wholeness knowledge is truly an asset in facilitating the healing process of each of our clients at IASIS. Ben is able to customize specialized programs according to each client's needs based on his natural healing intuition. He has dealt with various patients from Finland, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia. Ben was able to revert cases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, skin ailments and even infertility.
